Monday is an awful way to spend 1/7 of your life.

"Luke" (10:07:04 PM): YOU NEED TO BLOG

Fine, Luke, I'll blog. Today was a typical Monday: crappy. It was a perfect summer day, though. I didn't have much planned for the day, but I still feel as it is an important day in my life. I got closure from two friendships that were ineveitably failing. While I'm sad it's over, I'm not really crying over it. It made me think a lot about relationships. I had so much confidence that they were going to be friends forever, and it didn't work out that way. How do you know who really is going to stay in your life? Ok I'm done being philosophical.
Anyways...today my mom and I took a ride up to Millbury to get some summer reading books. We took my car and I made her pay for some gas because I'm poor. Aka in desperate need of a job, but no desire to look for one. I only got the summer reading book for physics, and the guy there looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked for a physics book. Ha I don't blame him.
I returned home and shortly after left to go pick up Laura James in Webster!
Laura and I went to Europe two summers ago with People to People. It's hard to believe that two years ago tomorrow I was leaving for Europe. Here's a tribute to the trip with a picture of Laura, Gina, and me on the Acropolis in Greece. It was such an amazing time, and I can't wait to go back. Well, I got lost in Webster for about half an hour before finding her house. We ended up reminsicing and talking about new stuff in our lives.
We ate at TGI Friday's up in Millbury. Where did I ever go before that place was built? The moon was so beautiful, and I tried to capture the moment, but it sucked. But it was really good to see Laura, as it is always good to see old friends. She encouraged me to apply to colleges in Cali, she loves it out there. Tomorrow I have to get up early to go the beach, but I'm excited! Goodnight!

A Boring Day.

If I had to use one word to describe July 5, 2009 it would be lame. I woke up and Luke called me. I ate an entire carrot. It was weird. Thomas refused to go on a bike ride with me. When I asked him why he would not partake in this fun activity, he said "inertia."
So, we washed my car instead. Inside and out. Gretta is gleaming! That took a few hours, and then we sat around and waited for dinner to be cooked. Luke called me again. I think someone's really missing Aashish.
We slapped some chicken on the grill and ate it in about 5 minutes, per usual. After dinner we had a lovely fire in the fire pit and toasted marshmallows.
The picture looks like I'm peeing on the fire, but I really am just trying to make a s'more. Hopefully the interestingness of this week picks up. Or we're all in big trouble.

Happy Birthday, America!

Well, today I decided I will be spending July 4, 2010 (aka 4 July 2010) in Boston. Watching the Boston Pops and the fireworks under the beautiful night sky. I actually really want to go to college in Boston now. I should tell Mr. Schneider, my favorite college counselor!
Anyways, back to this year. I woke up to find a beautiful rain-less day outside, which has been rare for the past three months. To your left is a picture of Thomas in the sun for the first time this summer, probably screaming about how it feels like someone has lit him on fire. Which is typical when Thomas the ghost is in the sun.
I put on a nice red white and blue outfit and headed to my mom's friend's cookout.
They had wicked good food. And the cutest little dog! Look it's me touching a dog! Which is rare because I hate dogs. Anyways, after we got home from those festivities we headed over to the Slavin's house for some more festivities. We had homemade chocolate chip ice cream and we played with some fireworks. Played is used very loosely here. Anyways, Jessica heard Aashish had been on a safari and decided it would be a great idea to make this video:

We had some good laughs. We then returned home and after a long talk from mom about not making faces at people while I'm driving, we watched the fireworks over Boston on channel 4. They were amazing. It's things like this that make me glad that I'm an American. It's pretty great here. Anyways, I'm heading off to bed. Later.

Well, today isn't officially the 4th, but I celebrated like it was. And since it's Aashish's first fourth of July as a citizen of the United States of America, I'm celebrating the right way because he's not in the country (Even though it's my 18th). I woke up around noon again at Lin's house and Ashley, Jenn, and I watched the Haunted Mansion. Quality movie. I went home for a few hours and then went to Ashley's sister's house (aka Melissa and Luke and Aliza). Aliza is probably the cutest baby ever. We blew some bubbles to entertain her, but we entertained ourselves more. After the bubbles were all gone, we had a very good dinner of chicken and pasta salad. After, Lin, Luke, Melissa, and Ashley played card games while I watched. I hate card games. So I decided to initiate a game of pictionary. Oh there's a great picture of the results.

Take a close look in the top left corner. I swear it's supposed to be a man holding a rifle...Other pictures include giving blood, Jon and Kate plus 8, the zoo, a flash drive, mowing the lawn, the revolutionary war, a garden, Uncle Sam, golfing, and skydiving.
Ashley then drove Melissa and me to the fireworks over in Webster. We had a nice snack of fried dough, french fries, and cotton candy. Yummm. We watched the fireworks from the parking lot, and they were so awesome. Right over our heads. We had a lot of fun. We then drove back to Connecticut and now I'm back at home. Talking to Rob Le on aim. I'm enjoying this blog thing. Anyways, Ashley and I made a quality video of the fireworks. I was like, "Ashley we have to take a fireworks video cause Aashish won't see them in India!" And she was like "Don't they have a fourth of July in India?!" Oh Ashley.

Today, I woke up at about noon. Yes, clearly I am having a very productive summer. Then, I went to Lea's house and we walked these dogs. There is a video below of her kicking their asses. Sorry for the profanity. After we returned them to their rightful owner, we sat around on our butts for hours and illegally let a cat into the house TWICE. It was way more funny than it should have been. (Like that time you got scared on the way to Emily's after prom.) We then decided to make s'mores in the oven. It was just like camping! Later on, I got a haircut. It took 5 minutes and I feel bald, even though I only cut three inches off. Then, I went to Wal-Mart to buy a toothbrush and razors. At seven I went with Lea and Jessica to a cardio kickboxing class at the local community center. That woman kicked our butts and now I'm dying. I'm now heading off to Ashley's house to chill with her and Jenn. I don't care if I'm late though because they're always late.

So yesterday I went for a run after I got home from Ashley's. It was more than 3/4 of a mile. Ashley and I had previously been to Wallum Lake and I jumped in off of a rock. That's the other video. Why am I writing in a blog? I'm getting way too into this. Anyways, I suppose I'm supposed to write something to Aashish, so I miss you. Duh.
